Today, we organized our gameroom to a more kid friendly area. Long ago this was a garage, but somewhere along the line before we bought this house it was converted. We have always had all of our sports memorabilia in there on the walls and bobbleheads fill the shelves, but I finally decided it was time to quit using it for storage and make it to where the kids could actually play in there. I figure as they grow we can change it to be a place they can hang out with their friends.

This first picture shows from the far end of the room and through that door goes into our dining room.

Shelving has a tote of Taylor's school work from last year and so far this year. My scrapbooking supplies and books, Their coloring books and containers for stickers, construction paper and finished pictures. Top shelf would be wooden puzzles, my scrabble game and a bucket of wooden blocks (basically things with little pieces that they would scatter everywhere without picking up IF they were to get their hands on them). The deck box we use as a toy box. Its full of Tyson's bigger trucks and stuffed animals.

Floor Hockey and Basketball

Toybox full of Kid games and a stack of adult board games (that I need another shelving unit for) and a tote of books.

Finally a useful place for our futon. Then in the corner is the deep freezer (excuse the boxes stacked on top of it. They are all things I still have to go through and most of it is more scrapbooking things....pictures, paper, etc.) Oh and if you were wondering YES those are fishing poles mounted to the ceiling (Keeps them away from kids and like I said before we used it for sports equipment storage)

Tomorrow I tackle the Dining Room. I have some new things I'd like to find a home for.
