Taylor will be hitting off a pitching machine this year; therefore, I will be getting her a bat that will work for that, but is also suitable for her size. I can't wait for ball this year.

Let Your Hair Down

Today was spring picture day and since Taylor got her hair cut recently I decided to let her wear it down for pictures instead of the picture day pigtails. Maybe we can do pigtails in the fall and hair down in the spring.

Pinterest Dinner

I have enjoyed finding easy dinner ideas on Pinterest. This was the first time we have made this one, but they were pretty darn yummy. Pepperoni and String cheese wrapped in a croissant.

Your Face

We did a little bit of face time with my sister tonight. The kids love seeing themselves on the phone screen. Makes talking on the phone fun.

Still Recovering

She's finally feeling better, but still requiring some extra sleep. Glad she has finally perked up again.

Books...Books...Books

The kids and I took a walk down the road to the library today to get some books since Taylor missed library day at school Friday. They had a good time running down the sidewalk and looking for books. Tyson does not have a library voice. He's loud and needs a mute button. It was nice to get out of the house and breathe some fresh air.

Dinner Without Dad

Since Dad was working afternoons today we took the opportunity to have something for dinner that he doesn't like to have often. Yummy French Toast!

The Difference a Day Makes

Taylor is feeling so much better today. Fever seems to be pretty much gone and she stayed awake all day long. I hope this is the beginning of getting my Taylor back.

So sleepy

Something invaded my big girl's body this week and has caused her to sleep a ton! I hope its gone soon I want my Taylor back.

Happy Valentine's Day

Taylor was up bright and early today after falling asleep early last night. Me, Matt and Tyson went to Lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and it was a good day!

Before headed to the bus stop I gave her the surprise we got for them. She was pretty happy leaving for school

I surprised her and showed up to help with her class party. It was cute watching all the kids go through their valentine's.

Finally, we got these at the store. Soooooooo delicious and make me think of my Great Grandma. We used to eat them with her when we stayed the night at their house. Love Ya, Nanny!

Today when Taylor got home from school she went to work writing out her Valentine's for her class. They have their party tomorrow as long as they don't end up with a snow day.

Today the flakes started to fly. They say we are in the 2-4 inch range. I guess we will see where we stand once it stops.

Randomness

This picture is an oldy, but completely shows the Taylor I've been experiencing lately. She's crabby, pouty and says she's tired ALL THE TIME. I personally think she's ready to be outside more often. I can't wait till we can go to the park or outside to let them run until they drop. Until then I hope she either cheers up or I can find a way to keep her happy. We did all kinds of things today and soon as we weren't doing them anymore she was tired and pouty again. I'm so totally over this craziness.

Color Him Cute

Tyson colored his face today. Yes that's a tear in his eye because he got in trouble. I told him he's only allowed to color on paper not himself. I am guessing he learned from Taylor because she colored on her hand the other day.

Jump Rope For Heart

Today was Taylor's jump rope for heart at school. She was super excited.

It kinda hits home for me and makes me think about my mom a lot. No one ever expected she would be gone so young, especially not because of a heart attack. So for days like today I will always think of her and know I need to keep myself healthy too.

Taylor's class also had an ice cream party because they won the box top competition. Next, we await the results of the can tab competition.

*Feb 10, 2012 is also the 11 year Anniversary of my first date with Matt, which turns out to be one of the best decisions ever*

I Love Days Like Today!

Taylor and Tyson have been playing together ALL day today without any bickering or fighting. It was topped off by Taylor actually letting Tyson play her DS. She was watching and helping him and He thought he was just the coolest kid ever because he was getting to play with sissy's game. I LOVE THEM especially when they get along.

Today was the first day we have done a pony tail since her haircut. She wanted to see how short it would be. I think the pint size pony tail is cute!
